MicrobiotaLab conducts basic and R&D studies on microbiota that inhabits various niches of the host organism - both in humans and animals. The research aims to learn about the physiological functions of microbiota - mainly intestinal and skin microbiota, its participation in the etiology and therapy of inflammatory diseases, and the interaction with oral and topical xenobiotics.
